united nations sustainable development goals

in 2015, the united nations adopted a blueprint for current and future peace and prosperity for people and the planet. the 17 sustainable development goals (sdgs) are an urgent call to all global partners. the goals recognize that strategies to improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth — all while combating climate change and preserving our oceans and forests — go hand in hand.
